A fantastic, authentic sounding neo-medieval soundtrack. Excellent restraint with the instrument pallete, and that includes the most tasteful bagpipes I’ve ever heard. Dark age treasures not to be ignored.

I recently learned about the German word 'Waldeinsamkeit' which describes a sort of profound sense of peace or calm while being alone in the forest. How fitting that I would then stumble upon Thetis' The Coming of Winter which, for me, evokes thoughts of quiet wanderings beneath frosted boughs and across snow-caked fields.
